Digital Humanities (DH) is an interdisciplinary research field that uses digital technology to preserve, exhibit, analyze, and educate about cultural resources and humanities materials.

The Innovative Hub of Inter Humanities, the Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University, is pleased to announce the holding of an international online conference with three DH researchers from Kyoto University and seven international DH scholars from the Czech Republic, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

The fields covered are digital corpora (incl. UD treebank), character encoding, and digital curation. The covered cultures include the Sinosphere, Western Antiquity, Ancient Egypt, Ancient India, and Ancient Maya.

All research presentations will be online. For those who can't make it, we will also provide recordings.

デジタル人文学(Digital Humanities; DH)は、デジタル技術を用いて文化資源・人文資料の保全・展示・分析・教育を行う学際的な研究分野です。


取り上げられる分野は、デジタルコーパス (UD係受け解析も含む)、文字符号化、デジタルアーカイブの3つですが、扱われる文化資源は、漢字文化圏、西洋古代、古代エジプト、古代インド、古代マヤと広範です。
